August 25th was Children’s Hospital‘s Apple Pick’n Days at Deardorff Orchards in Waconia. It was a beautiful day (a little overcast) and we had a wonderful turnout! We got to interact with a lot of kids and families.
On August 11, we participated in the World’s Largest Toy Battle, organized by Project My Neighborhood. We battled each other with old school Nerf Blast-A-Ball blasters from 1989 (it was hilarious because it’s impossible to aim these things). The weather was a little warm, but we still had a lot of fun and the kids seemed to have a great time having Nerf blaster battles against each other.
August 3-5, 2018 was Minnesota Fan Fusion, a relatively new pop culture convention in the Twin Cities. The Minnesota Force and Minnesota Superheroes United had tables at the convention, so I volunteered at both over the weekend.
