Minnesota Fan Fusion 2018

August 3-5, 2018 was Minnesota Fan Fusion, a relatively new pop culture convention in the Twin Cities. The Minnesota Force and Minnesota Superheroes United had tables at the convention, so I volunteered at both over the weekend.

Friday

I helped “open” the Minnesota Force booth, and then did a bit of wandering around before volunteering at the Minnesota Superheroes United booth. Paul and I took a bunch of fun photos in our Winter Soldier and Scarlet Witch costumes.

Saturday

I had a couple of panels on Saturday (Cosplay 101 and Body Positivity in Cosplay) and I started off the day debuting my Black Canary costume, which was a hit! It was super fun to wear, even though I was a little (okay, more than a little) self-conscious about it.

Sunday

I had one panel (Costuming for a Cause) and spent the rest of the day wandering around the convention. I took time for fun photos, though!

Toward the end of the day, this wonderfully kind gentleman asked if he could take a photo with me, and then he gave me this amazing Kylo drawing! Alex and I decided to recreate it. How awesome!
