On January 18th, we held our second annual A Force for Karen Blood Drive for our dearly departed friend who passed away from blood cancer in 2018. Unfortunately, we were hit with a blizzard so some volunteers and donors couldn’t make it, but we still had a great turnout and had a lot of fun!

It was also my “soft” debut of my Ben Solo costume (sans screen-accurate boots) and everything seemed to work out just fine!

On January 8th, I filled in last minute for a fellow trooper who was unable to attend an event at Children’s Hospital in St. Paul. They were doing a special showing of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker for the patients and their families, so we “partied” with them before half of our group went to do a few room visits. I had a great time, and I hope the kids enjoyed the movie!
